  Nice marina but a little over priced. Really could use more activities for kids and adults.

  Tower Marine keeps billing me for work incorrectly and never performed on my boat 2 years ago!!! I also did roofing repairs for them on the Red Dock restaurant, and have proof, which I never received any compensation for. They have no proof of any work done to my boat or done correctly. I know I paid them for other work performed that I had to literally sit there and oversee their mechanic doing. RJ the owner had me do the roofing repairs on Sunday my day off when I was just trying to relax with my family, and turned around and said I never did a thing. The first time I ever went to Tower Marine I drove 4 hours from Indiana with $10,000 cash to try and buy a boat, and Matt Peterson stood me up on a Sunday afternoon and no showed and no called me back and ignored me. So I left and bought one somewhere else. I still brought it there and paid the overpriced dock fee though because we initially liked the area. The grounds are decent and the river is awesome for fishing, but it's a super long idle to the big water as well. They also went through four service managers during the year-and-a-half that I was there and everything they were always supposed to do for me got mishandled, done incorrectly, or what I communicated to them never happened at all and was forgotten. I asked them for a blue three-year bottom paint which they said they could do and instead I got a crappy half of year black bottom paint which literally started chipping off right away. I had a $400 smoker sitting at our dock that my wife bought me for Christmas that got stolen also. Funny how no one knew a thing about that. To top it all off when I was in Florida this year I met an old man who told me a long story about RJ being in bankruptcy and he was hired to hide a big boat for them. Called him a snake and a thief and a liar and said he's known him for years. He's initially a nice guy, but his son Matt is not at all. I don't care how they retort and I should have left this review 2 years ago. I can prove it is all true. Don't get me wrong a lot of the people that work there are great and it's a cool atmosphere overall, but I just have a sour taste left in my mouth, and feel like I was taken advantage of and no one cared when they messed up. I also went around and did full roof estimates on almost every one of our RJ's buildings for their roofs, and then Matt called me back one time like they were going to hire me for a full roof and gets up on a roof with me and then just wants a stupid ass another little repair done and I drove three and a half four hours each way for that. I never did the second repair as I never got compensated for the first one . I bet Adam's review is spot on also!!!
